Brooklyn Heights Promenade

"The summer of 2001 started off as another uneventful summer in my life, which was fine with me. Words such as “uneventful, boring and nothing new” have become the esteemed words of choice in my vocabulary. I headed out on a four-hour trip to NYC, my former home and work place for 40 years, from the quieter and more peaceful life in upstate NY. My trips’ purpose was to update my stock photography business with new photos. With not much in mind, I decided to shoot from the hip and not work from a formal agenda. By the end of August, I thought I had completed my self assignment of the Promenade. However, two weeks later I knew that had changed just as all of NYC did. I was on the road again."
